How to set up an email account on Inbox.com, which offers extra features

Electronic mailing via the Internet is one of the most common forms of communication and to do this, you’ll need to set up an email account. Once set up, you’ll be able to send emails to friends and family, shop online, or communicate for work purposes.  There are many email or webmail service providers available on the Internet, each having their own unique features to consider. A reliable service should be fast, stable and well protected. Some, like Inbox.com, offer extra features like notes, organizer, photo album and other useful functions. To set up an email account on Inbox.com, follow the instructions below.

Instructions:

  1. Open your Internet browser and go to the Inbox.com registration page.
  2. Insert your First and Last name in the appropriate fields. In the “Desired Email Address” field, you can create your email address. People most likely use their nicknames, last names or combinations or their first and last name. You can even include digits.
  3. After you have chosen your desired email address, click on the “Check Availability” button. An email address is always unique and if someone else already owns that address, you’ll have to pick a new one.
  4. Now fill in the password twice for assurance in case of a typing error. Click on the “Continue” button.
  5. The security page is the final step of the registration. Choose the secret question and enter your answer in case you ever forget your password. If you have an alternate email address such as a work email address enter it so your password information will be sent there.
  6. On the same page, there are two more checkboxes: one is for using a Promo code and the second contains links for the “Terms of Use” and “Privacy Policy”. Both should be read before clicking on the “Continue” button.
  7. The next page will allow you to choose your Inbox.com account plan. Here you will select services you prefer. The summary table explains the different options. Once you have made your selections, click the “Create My Account” link. If you chose a paid service, this requires a payment, which can be made via your PayPal® account.
  8. You have just completed your registration for your own email account. Click on the “Enter My Account Now” button and you can start using your email service.

Tips and Tricks:

  • To have instant overview of your account, you can download Email Notifier application for free.  Just go to the Email Notifier website and click on the „Get It Now“ button.
  • There are many other services provided with your email account such as Notes, Organizer, Storage, and Photos gallery for free. You can view each in the email navigation bar.
  • In the right top corner, you can see how much capacity of your mailbox is used as you are allotted 5 GB.
